After attending the St John and St Elizabeth in North London in August, I would highly recommend Mr Alok Misra. Mr Misra first saw me in A&E. He immediately assessed the problem and arranged for minor surgery as an outpatient. The procedure was quick (and pain free) and every step was explained and discussed. I have been left in no doubt that Mr Misra was the best person I could have seen. Additionally, the follow up, from both him and his wonderful secretary has been outstanding.

I was referred to Mr Misra to discuss removing a benign dermoid cyst and I'm utterly thrilled with the service I received. From my initial consultation, I was immediately put at ease and I knew that I was in excellent hands, which was reinforced in each of our exchanges. Mr Misra clearly explained all of my possible options, as well as the potential upsides and risks with each procedure. This reassurance was all the more important when discussing treatments with possible long-lasting impact (I was reluctant to make my cyst more noticeable, as it is in a prominent area on my face). I also expressed concern that my skin tone would make any scars more visible, and Mr Misra was able to calm my apprehension by drawing on his plentiful experience across a diverse range of former patients. I was continually impressed by his ability to break down complex medical knowledge into simple concepts (often with inventive metaphors!), all while maintaining a sunny disposition. I ended up opting for my cyst to be drained via fine needle aspiration, as this was the least invasive option with no possibility of scarring. Even though I was aware that the likelihood of successful aspiration was slim, miraculously it worked! I really appreciated receiving an after-care call from Mr Misra, who was equally pleased with this surprising result, and to discuss any next steps. Mr Misra was hugely encouraging and attentive from start to finish, and praised me for my tenacity to follow through with the aspiration even though the outcome was uncertain. I really valued this candour, and I may not have chosen to have my cyst aspirated if it weren't for his professionalism and support. Many thanks also to Jane for her support and clear communication throughout the process. She organised all of my appointments swiftly and provided timely updates via text message, no matter what time of day. Mr Misra and Jane make a great team and I'm elated with my results. They both made me feel safe to ask any question, no matter how straightforward. They earn my highest recommendation.

Mr Misra provided me with nothing but the best service from start to finish. From the first consultation he explained the procedure in detail answering any questions and concerns I may of had as well as ensuring he was being realistic about the outcome, which from this gained my trust and I knew that I wanted to go through with the surgery with him. Before the surgery date I was in touch numerous times to discuss the ideal outcome for me and was given information about the procedure so I had it written as well as being told verbally. I underwent a Rhinoplasty surgery on the 23rd May 2022, the post care was immaculate and I was given everything I could've needed to ensure that any pain was minimal. For me, my journey was very smooth and I had no issues at all, from the surgery itself to the post care within the Cromwell hospital it was highly professional, clean and I was given immaculate service. I couldn't fault the hospital as well, the nurses did everything they could to make sure that I was as comfortable as I could be. I underwent a rhinoplasty surgery as I had concerns about my side profile being a larger feature on my face but the outcome that Mr Misra was able to give me was everything that I could've wished for and more. I truly am so happy with the outcome (even at such an early stage) and I feel as though he listened to what I wanted but also ensured that my ideal nose was realistic in proportion to all my other facial features. Overall, as a patient, I could not recommend Mr Misra enough and I want to thank him for his hard work, dedication and professionalism within his role as he did an outstanding job. I also want to give a massive thankyou to Jane for organising all the appointments and being in contact whenever I had any questions. She also played a massive role within my rhinoplasty journey and made the procedure feel so much more personal. Thankyou for all the check ins and ensuring that I was okay throughout the whole thing it really didn't go unnoticed. I'm sure I will be in touch to continue showing the progressions of my nose! What a splendid consultant, Mr Misra is. My 1st consultation was thorough, informative and very reassuring. Before surgery, I was familiar with everything I could expect to happen, in theatre. My pain, afterwards, was just as described by Mr Misra, so no surprises. It quickly subsided, as promised. The results of my surgery were just as I'd expected. And my recovery was speedier and more comfortable than I was anticipating. All my encounters with Mr Misra were friendly, caring and very comfortable. I would happily recommend him. His professional, personal is as one would hope, but his human, friendly attitude really is the icing on the cake. A very happy customer.

Dear Mr Misra and Jane Firstly, thank you for my initial consultation with you regarding my issues after undergoing several Coolsculpting procedures. I really felt that I needed to write to you both as we all go about our work and carry on with our lives but some people go beyond what is expected of them. Mr Misra, I would like to thank you for your professionalism, care and sense of humour, both before and after my lipo-abdominoplasty procedure. I felt so comfortable and secure as you explained everything fully several times over and all backed up with documentation, I was left in no doubt what the outcome of my procedure would be. Your expertise in performing surgery and the aftercare you provide is second to none and I was very happy knowing that you would be performing my surgery. I will forever be in debt to Dr Selena Langdon for recommending you, and to you too for making me feel so much better about my abdomen area after the procedure. I know there is a little bit of an area that I still need to deal with later on, but overall, I am extremely happy. I look forward in discussing my options with you to deal with this later on this year. Jane, you were amazing too with booking appointments and making sure I was aware of which hospital to go to, times etc. Also, all the follow up calls were wonderful, and if I had any worries, I felt that I could contact you at any time and you would help both during pre- and post-surgery, so lovely to be able to have that confidence in a person.
